Bumped on jumping away. App. N Fazackerley advised Stewards that the gelding travelled comfortably during the event however when placed under pressure at the 700m, failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing. A Post race Veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer L Baker could offer no explanation in relation to the performance however undertook to advise stewards in coming days if anything became apparent which may have affected its performance in today’s event.
