When asked to comment on the performance, jockey R. Wiggins indicated the horse at this stage of its preparation is looking for more ground. He added that the filly had been freshened up to start over 1200m and when the race was shortened again to 1100m due to the meeting being transferred to the cushion track, he indicated that this did not suit and as a result the horse was under pressure throughout the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
