When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, jockey R. Wiggins stated the horse travelled well in running, however when asked for an effort, failed to respond to his riding and, in his opinion, proved most disappointing. Trainer Mr S. Lee indicated that in light of today’s performance the horse would be sent for a spell. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities and a swab sample was taken
