Jockey N. Tomizawa reported that his saddle shifted on jumping away, causing him to be almost dislodged. He also advised that he was placed at a disadvantage as he was unable to reposition the saddle and the horse also laid in throughout the event and did no appreciate the firmer than normal racing surface.
