Jockey D. Browne pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that near the 150m in the home straight he did allow his mount to shift in, in order to secure clear running to the inside of SOL WITNESS, which resulted in tightening to WONDERFUL TALE, causing the rider of that horse to have to check that gelding and lose ground at that point of the race. D. Browne was suspended from riding in races for a period of 11 days, to commence at midnight, 2 January and to expire at midnight, 13 January.
