R. Stewart said that the horse was very disappointing, weakened badly in the home straight and he was of the view that the horse had come to the end of its preparation.Trainer C. Munce confirmed that he would recommend to connections to send the horse for a spell.

Weakened badly over the concluding stages. D. Browne reported that the horse travelled well in running, however did not respond when placed under pressure at the top of the straight and weakened. Trainer J. Sargent’s representative Ms K. Wells confirmed disappointment in the performance and indicated that the stable would have veterinary tests performed over the coming days and report the findings to stewards and also the intentions with the horse during the current preparation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
