Slow to begin. When asked to comment on the performance, jockey J. Lloyd indicated the horse did not travel comfortably in the rain affected conditions and after blundering badly near the 700m commenced to lose touch with the main body of the field and was very disappointing in the run to the line. Trainer T. Edmonds agreed with the comments of jockey Lloyd, indicating that the stable was quite disappointed with the performance.
