Change of tactics. Connections advised that from the good barrier draw the horse would be ridden more forward if circumstances permit. Jumped away extremely awkwardly and shifted out, causing interference to runners on its outside. When being steadied passing the 1400m commenced to overrace and raced ungenerously at heels until approaching the 800m.
