Lunged forward and made contact with the barriers just prior to the start being effected and as a result was slow to begin. Overraced after passing the 1200m when the pace slackened.

Displayed an abnormal respiratory noise post race. Connections were advised that it was now their intention to retire the horse from racing. Stewards informed connections they would be required to provide a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to its next race start should their intentions change.
