Forced wide approaching the 600m. T. Brooker advised that at no stage of the race did the horse travel. She added that the horse has not appreciated soft racing surfaces in the past and she felt that this may have been a contributing factor today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the horse had moderate heat stress, and a swab sample was taken.
