Tightened for room at the start and had to be checked. Commenced to hang out a short distance later and continued to hang out badly, taking no competitive part in the event, making contact with the outside fence after passing the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer R. Heathcote was advised that the horse must officially trial prior to its next start.
