Trainer D. Heinemann was questioned regarding the horse’s seemingly improved performance. He indicated that the horse, in his opinion, raced well at its last start at the Sunshine Coast as it was only beaten 5 lengths. He added that at its most recent start at Gympie the horse received severe interference during the early stages and had to be checked and this had a detrimental effect on the overall performance. He further added that he had expected a more forward showing tonight, however was somewhat surprised with the horse’s win.
