Was slightly hampered passing the 850m when QUEEN OF ARCHES shifted out. Put in an awkward stride after passing the 600m and then became awkward on straightening. From the 300m rider T .Harrison elected not to pressure her mount for the remainder of the race as she felt something may have been amiss with the filly. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer G. Hay advised that it now would be his intention to send the filly for a spell. However stewards advised Mr Hay that the MERRINGLY would be required to trial to the satisfaction of stewards
