Stewards acceded to a request by co-trainer B. Rodgers to add a barrier blanket to the horse’s gear for today’s run, however advised that a reprimand would be recorded for failing to effect the gear change by the prescribed time. Severely tightened for room on jumping away and had to be checked, losing considerable ground.
