Hampered by another runner near the 300m, steadied and was obliged to shift back to the inside to secure clear running. Again hampered by another runner and obliged to steady near the 100m.

Jockey E. Ljung reported her mount after travelling well in a favourable position throughout the event in her opinion proved very disappointing when placed under pressure in the home straight, and recommended to connections to add blinkers to the horse’s gear prior to its next race start.

A post race veterinary examination found the horse to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance, results of an ECG examination must be provided, and the horse must perform satisfactorily in an official trial prior to racing again.
