After being held up held up rounding the home turn, had some difficulty securing clear running and was obliged to race in restricted room until approaching the 300m.

Became fractious in the barriers, inspected by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to take its place in the field. Slow to begin, then had to be checked when bumped heavily by another runner shortly after the start. Overraced in the early and middle stages and had to be checked on a number of occasions to avoid heels after leaving the 1000m. Held up rounding the home turn and then was disappointed for a run and had to be steadied approaching the 300m.
