Kendrick regarding the tactics adopted as the horse was positioned in the lead in today’s event, which was in contrast to the horse’s established racing pattern. L. Tarrant indicated that he had been given no specific instructions, however did pressure the horse out of the barriers and was not surprised to have the horse show speed today as it was racing for the first time in blinkers and therefore he was satisfied to allow the horse to stride forward to the lead.
