Began awkwardly. Near the 700m raced in restricted room between QUEEN SAFARI and BETTER RUSH, which shifted out slightly. Underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer T. Edmonds was advised that in view of the gelding’s disappointing performance it would be required to trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to its return to the race.
