Slow into stride. Near the 150m clipped heels and fell, dislodging its rider. Jockey M McGillivray was transported to hospital for further assessment. Evidence was taken from the riders in the vicinity. The inquiry was adjourned until such time as jockey M. McGillivray is fit to participate. The fallen horse underwent a veterinary examination , which revealed it had sustained abrasions to its near foreleg and was treated on course. Trainer M. Kropp was advised that the filly would need a veterinary clearance prior to returning to the races.
