Began awkwardly. Raced ungenerously throughout. Eased by its rider passing the 400 metres as rider L Cassidy was of the opinion the mare may have sustained an injury during the race. A post-race veterinary examination of BUCKETS OF PRIDE revealed no clinical findings. Trainer C Munce was advised the BUCKETS OF PRIDE must trial satisfactorily and also obtain a veterinary clearance prior to its next race start.
