Tightened for room at the start when GREAT PATIENCE shifted in. On return to scale jockey N. Evans reported that his mount slipped behind on jumping away and over the concluding stages felt awkward in its action. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be stepping short behind however was not lame. Trainer K.
