On return to scale, jockey K. Yoshida advised that the gelding settled at the tail of the field as per its customary racing pattern, however was not suited by the fast early tempo and did not travel as comfortably as that of its most recent start as a consequence. He added that the horse improved into the race for a short distance passing the 400m, however raced one paced in the home straight. Jockey Yoshida further stated that, in his opinion, the horse would be better suited in races over further distance than that of tonight’s event.
