When questioned regarding the tactics adopted, jockey S. Bogenhuber stated that her instructions were to take up a forward position however after the colt began only fairly she was obliged to pressure her mount in an effort to comply with these instructions. She added that the colt then commenced to race keenly and she was unable to obtain a position with cover and was forced to race 3 wide throughout.
