Jockey R. McMahon stated that after having a favourable position throughout, the filly was placed under immense pressure from the 500m and failed to quicken as expected and was left flat footed. He added that the filly proved disappointing in the home straight. Trainer B. Lockwood expressed his disappointment in the performance and could offer no explanation.
