Became fractious in the barriers at which time it dislodged its bridle and broke the strap on the blinkers. When contacted, Trainer K. Kemp advised that he was satisfied for the horse to race without blinkers. Began awkwardly and lost ground. Got its head in the air whilst being steadied leaving the 900m. Trainer K. Kemp advised Stewards that he now intends to send the gelding for a spell.
