A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had sustained a significant tendon injury to its off-hind leg consistent with it being galloped on. Following advice from the veterinary surgeon, the gelding was transported to a local veterinary clinic for further assessment. Trainer C. Munce was advised that the gelding will require a veterinary clearance prior to resuming racing.
