Raced in restricted room shortly after the start and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding, which was eased down over the concluding stages, revealed the horse to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer T. Gollan was advised that prior to racing again the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards, and that it would require a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG.
