Oliver reported that despite the incidents near the 1200m and the 350m he could offer no tangible explanation for the disappointing performance today. Trainer L. Hatch will be questioned in the coming days in relation to the performance. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare revealed no apparent abnormalities.
