When asked about tactics adopted, particularly in leading, Rdr stated instructed to be positive from the barriers as per instructions issued at the horses most recent start, and after limited pace shown by runners drawn to the inside and with the step up in distance, allowed gelding to stride and take up the lead. As Tnr confirmed instructions, was reminded of obligations to advise of any change of tactics.

Rdr advised instructed to be forward early, however; was concerned if overly pressured, horse would over-race as has shown a tendency to race keenly in the past. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Co-tnr advised gelding failed to run out the distance and intended to have follow up vet tests conducted in the coming days-added gelding would now be sent for a short spell.
