Jockey R Fradd reported that after being tightened for room at the start, he was forced to race in a rearward position, however the gelding travelled comfortably throughout the event. Jockey Fradd went onto state that after shifting to the outside on straightening to improve, the gelding failed to quicken as he had expected and ran on only reasonably over the concluding stages.
