A Fancourt reported that her mount was disappointing, which she felt could be attributed to the gelding having a short back up from its most recent start. Post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering the thumps. Trainer S Strazzieri advised Stewards that the horse will now be sent for a spell.
