When asked to comment on the apparent improved performance trainer T Button advised he was not overly disappointed with the horse at its most recent run at Beaudesert on 3rd October in a race over an unsuitable distance which followed its performance at listed level in Toowoomba on 24th September. Stewards noted the explanation.

Near the 150m rider J Orman momentarily lost use of his near side rein. When asked to comment on the performance rider J Orman advised after leading and setting a moderate tempo the horse was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities other than a slow post-race recovery.
