When asked about tactics in the early and middle stages, particularly the strong pace set during that stage of the race, Rdr advised from the wide barrier, was obliged to pressure gelding early to cross inside runners and was then reluctant to overly restrain gelding as has shown in the past it does have a breathing condition if overly restrained. Tnr confirmed instructs, and also racing characteristics of gelding.
