RACE 1 

LULU LUCIFER (1) drops right back in grade here after contesting a mares band 5 race last start. 

GLENLEDI COMMANDER (8) burned off the gate last start and just struggled to finish it off on the heavy surface at Marburg. Can bounce back here. 

PRESS STATEMENT (9) third last time out behind Daniel Boom. 

THERESACHANCE (4) gate speed horse. Made an error last start but is racing at his peak.

RACE 2 

JUSTROLLINGAROUND (3) is well graded in this race. Made an error last time out when well beaten. 

KEAYANG TARA (1) draws a good gate and drops back from a mares band 5 race. 

CORNISH SMUGGLER (9) improved last start with a third. 

ROCK WITH NATE (2) can do things wrong at times. His best is certainly good enough for a race of this nature.

RACE 3

OUR UNCLE LES (1) has gate speed and looks to have found a suitable race. 

JET FORCE (2) has been thereabouts in his past few after doing a lot of work. Can figure with an easier run. 

ROYAL WINKLE (6) broke in the score up two runs ago before a good second last start from this same draw. 

BATMAN BART (5) his best is certainly good enough for a race like this if we can see that again.

RACE 4 

THREE MACHS (7) will have to navigate a potentially tricky draw. He ran a luckless second last time out. 

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (2) returned with a second last start. Should be better for the run. 

COBBLER LANE (9) hasn’t been beaten too far in recent efforts finishing fourth last start. 

MACH TORQUE (6) made an error last time out. His efforts in races of this nature have been solid and he can figure again.

RACE 5

SHAKATIE (3) pressed onto the lead two runs ago and wasn’t beaten far. 

CHARLEVOIX (4) was a last start runner up in what looks solid form for this kind of race. 

FLOORLESS (8) rarely puts in a bad run. Rarely wins but is never too far away. 

WESTRAY (6) has caught the eye in recent efforts.

RACE 6 

MEGA STAR (8) has very little luck last start when caught out the back in a stronger race. Made good ground late. 

SPELLMAKERS CHARM (9) appears to be working back to somewhere near her better form. 

HIGHVIEW SADLER (4) a last start fourth looks good form for a race like this. 

MISS PAU (3) was able to press onto the lead last start and lead all the way.

RACE 7

ROCCO VARIETY (3) is a consistent gelding. He has good gate speed and a low draw here. 

MAN OF ACTION (4) is rarely far away in a race of this nature. 

THREE CHORD RIFF (5) is in good form. Scored a strong win two runs ago when leading which she’s unlikely to be able to do here. 

TORQUE WRITER (6) racing well recently. Made a break last start and was sent back to the trials where she trialled well.

STORMBOY STAR (3) is a former Victorian horse that’s having his second start for the Grant Jones stable. Only 2 wins from 59 but this does look suitable. 

GABBYS IDEAL (9) has been consistent and this looks an easier race than her past few. 

CHANCELESS CENTURY (5) was a runner up two runs ago when leading. This looks a suitable race. 

DEVOUGED (6) is faced by an awkward draw. Racing consistently.

RACE 9

ROCKINTHECITY (5) brings much stronger NSW form into what appears a very moderate race. 

TAPTHEKEG (2) draws a low gate and can figure from there. 

BABY GINNIE (9) winner two back when getting the perfect trip leaders back. Won’t get that luxury outside back row but appears to be going okay. 

TROUPER JUJON (8) has been competitive in recent runs finishing midfield.

VANITY BAY (5) has good gate speed and will likely press forward to take it up. Looks the winner.

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (8) recent effort was good for a race like this. Looming up before running third. 

SARIE MARAIS (2) improved last start when running into third.
