Commenced to overrace due to the moderate tempo leaving the 1000m, shifted wider on the course and was allowed to stride forward and race on the speed and was then obliged to race three wide for the remainder of the event. When questioned regarding the tactics adopted, S. Bogenhuber stated that the gelding refused to settle in the early stages and proved difficult to ride, hence rather than fight the gelding she elected to improve wider on the course.
