Wiggins stated he was satisfied with his position in running and elected to improve forward due the moderate tempo in the middle stages. He also added that the gelding felt one-paced and, in his opinion, would be looking for distances further than that of today’s event. A post race veterinary examination failed to detect any apparent abnormalities.
