Stewards questioned trainer A. Willick regarding the seemingly improved performance of the gelding in today’s event. Trainer Willick stated that she had only had the gelding in her care for 2 months. She also added that it had continued to improve in itself since entering the stable, and further stated at its most recent start at Murwillumbah the gelding knuckled on jumping and received some tightening in the event, and was advised by is rider to consider stepping the gelding up in distance. Stewards noted the explanation.
