Rounding the turn near the 800 metres was hampered by another runner which shifted out after making contact with the running rail. When questioned regarding the poor performance of the mare, Jockey explained that after abeing hampered near the 800 metres his mount never travelled comfortably throughout and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
