Trainer J. Curtain was advised that due to the horse’s action in front its nomination would be refused in the immediate future. Mr Curtain indicated that the gelding would be sent for a spell and he would consult with the owners regarding the horse’s racing future. Mr Curtain was also advised that in light of a post-race veterinary examination which revealed lameness in the near foreleg, he will be required to produce a veterinary clearance prior to the horse racing again.
