Trainer R. Heathcote reported that jockey M. Cahill advised him that the horse was inclined to hang out throughout and was reluctant to stretch out in the straight. He indicated he would have veterinary surgeon examine the horse on Monday and undertook to report any findings to stewards. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
