Raced three wide without cover. Apprentice S. Eilbeck reported that the horse was bumped prior to straightening and then in her opinion was reluctant to stride out in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion inside the near fore cannon.

M. Cahill reported that the horse travelled moderately behind the leaders, however he did not believe that the gelding raced well in the soft track conditions. He added that when asked for an effort, the gelding failed to respond and was not at all comfortable when under pressure.
