Kimmet explained that at its last start the mare was in season and raced wide in the early and middle stages before weakening badly over the final 400m, which he attributed to ROUND MOUNTAIN GEM being in season. He added that 2 starts back the mare met with interference near the 600m and he was not completely disappointed with its effort to be beaten 4.3 lengths.
