Coveney stated that the mare had been ridden forward at Gatton when it won in June and his instructions to all riders since then have been to ride the mare forward, however at its three previous starts the mare was unable to be ridden in that manner.

After taking a trailing position behind TRUE PASSION, was then taken back through the field after passing the 800m when that runner commenced to lose ground, and then had to check away from that runner passing the 700m and shifted wider. Shifted out to improve near the 200m and made contact with another runner and was then held up approaching the 100m and did not obtain clear running over the concluding stages.
