Again had to be restrained from the heels of ALDERMAN passing the 500m. Held up for clear running from approaching the 400m until approaching the 250m. Had to be steadied off heels and alter course passing the 100m.

Laid in despite the efforts of its rider approaching the 600m, briefly tightening the running of ALDERMAN, which was racing to its inside. Weakened in the home straight. Rider B. Appo accidentally dropped his whip passing the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

As the mare had not started for more than 12 months, it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination, which cleared the horse to race. Bumped on jumping by FLAMING BOSS. Raced in a rearward position and raced greenly throughout the event.
