Eased down in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered a bleeding attack and to be suffering cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer J. Pride was advised that the horse would be ineligible to race for 3 months, and prior to racing again must gallop over 1000m in the presence of a steward, must trial satisfactorily and undergo an ECG, the results of which must be provided to stewards.
