M. Hellyer was found guilty of a charge under AR131(b) in that he failed to ride his mount out to the end of the race. In determining penalty, stewards were of the opinion that jockey Hellyer’s actions had cost his mount 2nd placing and therefore suspended his licence to ride in races for 21 days, to commence at midnight on Wednesday 22 July and expire at midnight on Wednesday 12 August 2020.
