When questioned regarding the gelding’s poor performance, apprentice C. Bayliss indicated that the gelding travelled only reasonably throughout and when placed under pressure failed to respond to his riding. Trainer B. Lockwood expressed his disappointment with today’s performance and indicated that more than likely the gelding would leave his stable.
