Questioned re tactics rider stated instructed to obtain position with cover just off speed. Added after beginning on terms with runners drawn inside was reluctant to press forward as concerned would be forced to race outside leader without cover and elected to restrain to shift in and improve inside ESKIMO KING, which would result in settling in position one out and one back. When attempting to restrain it commenced to overrace proving difficult to restrain allowing ESKIMO KING to shift in obtaining his intended position, as consequence forced to settle further back than anticipated.
