Approaching the 300m steadied away from the heels of MARVEL CREATION and again near the 100m steadied from the heels of LADY SOLERNO which shifted in. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey M Hellyer stated that the gelding travelled comfortably during the early and middle stages but was reluctant to improve between runners when asked to improve passing the 400m. Jockey Hellyer was of the opinion that the gelding would be better suited when able to improve to the outside of runners and also when stepped up over further distances.
