Rider questioned re tactics adopted in the early stages, rider stated his instructions were to obtain cover just off the speed, further stated after begining well he restrained the gelding as to comply with his instructions however, after passing the 1100m he was obliged to press forward to prevent DAZZLE US AGAIN from maintaining a one off position, after which the gelding was inclined to overrace for some distance.

Slow to begin. When questioned re performance rider noted gelding inclined to overrace last start and pacifiers were added to its racing gear today. Rider stated with addition of pacifiers gelding travelled more comfortably but in her opinion may be better suited to races over further distances. Trainer agreed with the comments of rider.
